20 Most-Anticipated 2024 Fiction Books to Add to Your TBR List

I’ve put together my list of most-anticipated new fiction books coming in 2024 (all genres), including bestselling authors like Sarah J. Maas and Stephen King to debut authors that should definitely be on your radar.

Most Anticipated New 2024 Fiction Books

If you looked at my Goodreads account, you’d probably be shocked by my out-of-control TBR list. I can’t help but add every book I hear about that sounds good – and it ends up being a lot!

Fortunately, that also means I won’t forget about books being published in the coming year. 🙂 And this year is absolutely packed with must-read upcoming releases.

There’s an eclectic mix of genres in the list below, from historical fiction to fantasy, mystery, and lots more. So you’re sure to find something to get excited about!

I’ve included books by some of my favorite authors (like Stephen King, Leigh Bardugo, and Kristin Hannah), along with some buzz-worthy debut novels. (Here are more exciting 2024 novels by popular bestselling authors!)
