Who is Lisa Jewell?
Lisa Jewell is a #1 New York Times bestselling British author of over twenty novels, both psychological thrillers (more recently) and contemporary fiction (mainly her earlier works).
Her debut novel was called Ralph’s Party, and in recent years (since 2014), she’s switched to writing mainly psychological thriller books.
She has been nominated multiple times for the Goodreads Choice Awards in the Mystery/Thriller category.

Yes! The first book, The Family Upstairs, was followed by a sequel called The Family Remains. This follow-up features some of the same characters from the previous book, and touches on some of the same plot points.
Do you need to read Lisa Jewell’s books in order?
Aside from the two series she’s written (The Family Upstairs/The Family Remains and Ralph’s Party/After the Party), you don’t need to read Lisa Jewell’s books in a certain order.
