The first step is to choose your Instagram account handle. You may want to choose a handle that makes it clear your account is about books or reading, but it's not required!

Add your name and a profile picture, then write a few things about yourself, such as your favorite book genres.

PICK A THEME (OR DoN'T!)

You might want to have a particular theme or aesthetic in mind, such as warm & cozy or bright & fun. This step is entirely optional, though! You can feel it out as you go.

TAKE A BOOK PHOTO & POST IT
