Who is Matt Haig?

Matt Haig is a popular bestselling author of numerous genres – both fiction and non-fiction – and many audiences, from adult to young adult to children’s books.

Many of his adult fiction novels include a partial fantasy or science fiction element, and his nonfiction books are focused around mental health.

Matt Haig’s books have either won or been nominated for numerous awards. His novel The Midnight Library won the 2020 Goodreads Choice Award for Fiction.

Have any of Matt Haig’s books been made into movies or TV adaptations?

Yes! His children’s book A Boy Called Christmas was adapted into a movie starring Maggie Smith and Henry Lawfull in 2021. A movie adaptation of The Midnight Library is currently in development.

Additionally, an adaptation of Haig’s novel How to Stop Time is also in development, set to star Benedict Cumberbatch. An adaptation of his young adult book The Radleys is also in development, set to star Damian Lewis.

Do you need to read Matt Haig’s books in order?
