How to Save a Life by Liz Fenton & Lisa Steinke: My Thoughts
This story breathed new life into the Groundhog Day phenomenon, using love and regret as a catalyst. It somehow managed to be both enjoyable and heart-wrenching at the same time. As the story unfolded, I was increasingly curious as to how things would end up.
I don’t think I’ve really read a romantic suspense before, and I’m so glad I gave this one a chance! I’m a big fan of genre-mashups, and this one worked really well. I can totally see this being made into a movie.
I think the only thing I didn’t love as much was a slight repetitive feeling. But you can’t really do a Groundhog Day-type book without that, can you?
Overall, How to Save a Life was an entertaining and thought-provoking read! Great for fans of thrillers and romance alike.
